A design applies to the shape and outward appearance of an article or part of a product.
Industrial design shall mean three-dimensional or two-dimensional appearance of the entire product or a part there of, defined by its features, in particular the lines, contours, colors, shape, texture and materials of the product itself or its ornamentation, as well as their combination.
Industrial design shall be protected by the exclusive right (industrial design right) if it is new and has an individual character.
Duration: 25 years from the filing date.
Annuities: Once granted, design registrations are in force for 5 years from the date of filing the application.Can be kept in force from 6th until 25th year - by payment of annual renewal fees.

- Applicant’s name and address
- Description of the design
- A graphic presentation (a photograph or a drawing) of the design
- Power of attorney (no legalization required)
