Trademark is the right that protects a mark used in the course of trade to distinguish goods and/or services of one natural or legal person from identical or similar goods and/or services of another natural or legal person.
Any sign capable of being represented graphically, may be protected by the trademark, provided that such signs are capable of distinguishing in the course of trade the goods or services of one natural or legal person from the goods and/or services of another natural or legal person.
It can consist of words and combinations of words (for instance, slogans), names, logos, figures and images, letters, numbers, sounds, and moving images, or a combination of these.
A trademark registration gives you exclusive rights to use the trademark as a special symbol for your goods and/or services, preventing others from using a trademark which can be confused with yours for goods and services of the same or similar type as yours is registered for.
Duration: It is valid 10 years from the filing date and could be renewal unlimitedly.

- Representation of the mark
- Power of Attorney Simply Signed
- Certified copy of Priority document (if claimed).
Renewal Requirements
- Power of Attorney Simply Signed
Assignment Requirements
- Power of the Attorney simply signed by both assignor and assignee.
- Assignment Deed duly certified or notarized.
Change of Name & Address Requirements
- Extract from Commercial register duly certified
- Power of Attorney simply signed with the new Name and/or Address
License Recordal Requirements
- Power of Attorney Simply Signed
- License Agreement with its officially certified translation into Serbian language duly certified
